Important notes when converting
- JPG → PNG doesn't add quality. PNG just "wraps" the image without lossy compression — but detail already lost in the JPG won't come back. The file is usually larger.
- PNG → JPG removes transparency. Transparent areas become a white (or other) background. Don't do this to a logo that needs transparency.
- To WebP usually shrinks size significantly — a great pick for websites.
